ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION, ONE SOUND AT A TIME
Hear it. Say it. Make it your own. Speech King helps you practice English pronunciation by listening to a sound, recording your voice, and comparing the two.
For clearer words, a more familiar accent, and a voice that feels like you.

WHO IT’S FOR
Give unfamiliar sounds a little more attention, one word at a time.
Listen to reference voices and explore the sounds you want to practice.
Step back, listen to your recording, and decide what you want to work on.
01 / HOW IT WORKS
You don’t need to know phonetic terminology to begin. Pick a sound, hear an example, and try it yourself. The comparison is the starting point for your next attempt.
Choose a sound or word and listen to the reference recording. Notice its rhythm and the way the sound begins and ends.
Record yourself saying the same thing. This is practice, not a performance—give yourself room to experiment.
Play back the reference and your recording. What sounds different? Choose one thing to try differently on the next attempt.
INSIDE THE APP
Choose from 70 phonetic sets, compare two reference voices, and build a private practice habit at your own pace.

A shared curiosity about language brought a group of friends together.
Speech King grew from a simple idea: hearing a reference, recording your own voice, and comparing the two can make pronunciation practice easier to understand.
As a team, we brought together experience in teaching, technology, design, and voice recording to turn that exercise into an app you could carry in your pocket.
The spirit of the project is still collaborative: learning from each other, trying new ideas, and making space for everyone to find their own voice.
03 / THE APPROACH
